Умение выделять общий объект высказываний в диалогическом общении
Цель ЛР данного типа — сформировать умение понимать, о чем идет речь в диалоге, концентрируется ли диалог вокруг одного основного объекта или в ходе диалога собеседники меняют объект высказывания. Данное умение формируется на основе уме-ний находить языковые средства, вводящие в диалог и завершающие его. Важно выявлять и средства, служащие для поддержания беседы, поскольку использование этих средств часто сигнализирует о расширении или сужении объекта высказывания или оправдывает его изменение. В плане репродуктивной деятельности это умение обеспечивает логичное включение третьего лица в беседу, которую человек вначале слушает как бы со стороны.
В связи с тем, что контроль сформированности данного умения в условиях близких к естественным может осуществляться в рамках самой ЛР, мы предназначаем ее для выполнения во внеаудиторных условиях.
Структура ЛР:
1. Прослушивание диалогов и определение объекта высказывания (множественный выбор).
2. Прослушивание диалогов и выбор реплики из числа предложенных, с которой слушатель мог бы вступить в беседу, с учетом основного объекта высказывания, интересующего всех говорящих.
ЛР данного типа является внеаудиторной, устно-письменной, аудиовизуальной.

Part 1. Rationae and Directions:
When listening to a diaogue, you have to decide what the speakers are taking about, that is, you have to determine the object of the discussion. For instance, when you hear the speakers mention various pieces of furniture, they can't be taking about "furniture" in genera. It woud be quite pointess. They may be discussing the cost of furnishing a fat, the best way of pacing the furniture in the room, the merits and drawbacks of various pieces of furniture, etc. If you understand what the 1 object of the discussion is, you will be abe to foow its deveopment, 1 to keep track of the speakers' ideas, to see what they agree or disagree about and so on.
To determine the object of the diaogue, pay attention to the opening cues, to the connective phrases, to the topica words, as well as to the fina phrases of the diaogue. The topica words will show you what to anticipate.They will hep you to specify the topic and, finay, singe out the object of the conversation. You must aso find its main characteristics. Now that you have earned to do it when listening to a monoogue, you needn't write them down. You can just make a menta I note of them so as to determine the object of the whoe discourse.
Listen to a few short diaogues and tick the phrase which best formuates the object of each diaogue.
Part 2. Directions:
Now imagine that you are listening to a conversation between two peope you know well and you want to take part in it. Choose the most suitabe utterance and say it in the pause after the buzz.
